Swan View Therapeutic Riding Center is energized by a dynamic group of volunteers.  Knowledge of disabilities and horses is not necessary to begin, just a willingness to help others and learn the skills needed.

Volunteer opportunities available:

          -  Grooming and tacking horses before class.

          -  Leading or side-walking a rider’s horse during instruction.

          -  Care for our tack and equipment.

          -  Assist with facility maintenance.

          -  Help with office work

          -  Assist in grant writing

          -  Solicit donations

Community service requirements for school or other organizations are welcome.

"There is always something strong that is evoked around horses...they are large, loving, trusting...I think they teach us to live large, to love beyond ourselves, to dare to trust in an untrustworthy world..."

- Cindy Fort, Therapist/Volunteer
