Swan View Drill Team Wins First Place
in National Competition

The Swan View Therapeutic Riding Center drill team gave a winning performance at the United States Equestrian Drill Competition at Canton Texas in June 2007. The competition featured over 60 drill teams from all around the USA. The 2007 Swan View team was made up of Collin riding Pisac, Cathleen on Durango, Ryan on Victor, and Carolyn on Cadete.
Swan View specializes with Peruvian horses, and the Peruvian theme was carried out in the performance with Andean music, traditional rider attire, and display of Peruvian flags.

Riders are only an arms length apart in the join-up formation.

Collin and Pisac lead the carrousel maneuver, with the team pivoting around Carolyn and Cadete.

Riders Cathleen, Ryan and Collin present the championship flag, thanks to SuperRide Director Gary Booner's sponsorship.
Beulah Land Ranch

The team, family, and friends enjoyed their accomodations at the Beulah Land Ranch (To link to Beulah Land Ranch Click Here), a beautiful Bed & Breakfast not far from Canton. Beulah sponsored Swan View making it possible for them to stay at their ranch

Ryan enjoyed driving the big Clydesdales, taking visitors on a tour of the ranch. With Ryan are John Carlson, owner of Beulah Land Ranch and Lori Gouge, Ryan’s mother.

Kinsey Schuetz got acquainted with Beulah Land’s draft horse mares and their paint cross foals. She accompanied the team to Canton assisting in every way she could.

Joe Thatcher and Freddie Ankele made friends with a Belgian mare.
